Governor Jack A. Markell to Present Awards in the Arts

Markell will honor the eight recipients of the 2014 Governor’s Awards for the Arts at a presentation starting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2014 at The Grand Opera House in Wilmington, Delaware. Bryan Davis to display paintings in the Mezzanine Gallery in July

This solo exhibition will showcase a selection of Davis’ original works, offering a range of complex visuals comprised of realistic imagery. Some of his most interesting works find Davis in a vein of magic realism, using the human figure juxtaposed against a background suffused with peril.
