Delaware Students Make History at 2025 Educators Rising National Conference

Delaware students delivered an extraordinary performance at the 2025 Educators Rising National Conference, held June 26–29 in Orlando, Florida. With more than 3,000 middle school, high school, and collegiate students attending, the event is the premier gathering for future educators nationwide. Under the theme “Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders,” the Delaware team had standout achievements:




DSB Announces Spring 2025 EDGE Grant Competition Awards

The Delaware Division of Small Business (DSB) announced the Spring 2025 winners of the Encouraging Development, Growth and Expansion (EDGE) Grant competition on Wednesday June 4, 2025. Ten awards were presented to Delaware small businesses in a ceremony at Bally’s Resort in Dover.




Governor Matt Meyer Recognizes State of Delaware Employees in Public Service Recognition Week Ceremony

“Every day Delaware’s public servants work hard to deliver results for the people of our state – often without seeking recognition. Today, we honored those who went above and beyond, bringing creativity, commitment, and courage to their work. I am proud to celebrate the outstanding individuals and teams who have made Delaware stronger, more innovative, and more responsive to the people we serve,” said Governor Matt Meyer.




Students Named 2025 Secretary of Education Scholars

Secretary of Education Cindy Marten has recognized 96 public school students from the Class of 2025 as Secretary of Education Scholars.




2025 District/Charter Educational Support Professionals of the Year Honored

The Delaware Department of Education (DDOE) is honoring 20 educational support professionals for their outstanding work supporting their students and school communities.
