DelDOT Marks Start of Route 1 and 16 Project

The project consists of the construction of a grade separation (bridge and entrance/exit ramps) at the intersection of SR 1 and SR 16 near Milton that will replace the current signalized intersection.

Governor Carney Signs Paid Family Leave Legislation

Governor John Carney on Tuesday signed Senate Substitute 2 for Senate Bill 1 into law surrounded by members of the General Assembly and advocates. This legislation creates a statewide paid family and medical leave insurance program, offering eligible Delaware workers up to 12 weeks of paid leave to address a worker’s own serious health condition; to care for a family member with a serious health condition; to bond and care for a new child; or to address the impact of a family member’s military deployment.
