DNREC’s Community Involvement Advisory Council (CIAC) will hold an informational public workshop Monday, April 25 to address the ongoing concerns of Harbeson area residents related to improvements to the Allen Harim Foods LLC poultry processing facility’s wastewater treatment plant and other operational issues.

DNREC Secretary David S. Small has issued a Notice of Administrative Penalty Assessment and Secretary’s Order to Sal Dellomo and Hylton’s Market, Inc., for violations of Delaware’s underground storage tank rules and regulations.




Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police Blotter: March 7-13

Natural Resources Police officers made 1,002 contacts with anglers, boaters, hunters and the general public between March 7-13, including 38 vessel boardings for boating safety and fishing regulation compliance checks.




DNREC Mosquito Control Section’s spraying season begins with larviciding wooded wetlands

Weather-permitting, DNREC’s Mosquito Control Section will begin its annual spring woodland-pool spraying campaign downstate Saturday, March 19 and upstate Tuesday, March 22, treating wooded wetlands near select populated areas in New Castle, Kent and Sussex counties.
