Missing boy found safe at Eagles Nest Wildlife Area

Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police officers and the Delaware State Police Aviation Unit found and safely returned to his family mid-day Sunday a 13-year-old boy reported lost earlier that morning while looking for shed deer antlers on the Eagles Nest Wildlife Area.




Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Funds, Project Notice-of-Intent deadline extended to Feb. 29

DNREC’s Environmental Finance and DHSS Division of Public Health’s Office of Drinking Water have announced that the deadline to submit a FY 2016 Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund Project Notice-of-Intent (NOI) has been extended to February 29, 2016.




Delaware Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) report data again shows overall decrease in state’s onsite releases to land, air and water

The annual Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) data report from Delaware’s industrial facilities as compiled by DNREC’s Emergency Prevention and Response Section shows the state continuing to make remarkable progress in reducing toxic releases into the environment.
