State champions in sportsmanship winners announced

The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association [DIAA] offers an annual statewide competition in sportsmanship. The member schools compete against a set of ten standards that measure the school community’s commitment to the educational nature of interscholastic athletics. The process is demanding and involves the total school community. Member schools submit a portfolio that is judged by the Sportsmanship Committee to determine if each school has successfully met the standards.

Online registration now open to volunteers for 31st annual Delaware Coastal Cleanup

Online volunteer registration is now open for the 31st annual Delaware Coastal Cleanup, to be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 15, along Delaware’s s 97-mile eastern coastline and parts of the State’s river and ocean shorelines and wetland and watershed areas.
