At a recognition luncheon Thursday in Dover, Gov. Jack Markell joined Department of Health and Social Services Secretary Rita Landgraf in honoring Delaware’s 280 Foster Grandparents for mentoring at-risk children across the state.

Delaware residents participated in the 2012 Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on April 28 in record numbers, turning in more than 6,808 pounds of unwanted or expired medications at the 31 take-back sites statewide.
