That’s daunting math, but Delaware has the opportunity to win in this global war for jobs, which is better characterized as a global war for talent. We can put Delaware on a sustainable path of economic growth now and well into the future by ensuring we fully take advantage of the abilities of our people.

Saturday, June 1, 2013 will mark the beginning of the 2013 Atlantic Hurricane Season and the American Red cross wants to community to be prepared for any and all storms that may threaten this year.

A new alternative bait product that will help reduce the number of horseshoe crabs harvested from the Delaware Bay was introduced today. A team of University of Delaware researchers led by Dr. Nancy Targett, DuPont scientists, fisheries biologists, watermen and conservation groups were joined by DNREC Secretary Collin O’Mara to make the announcement this morning at UD’s Hugh R. Sharp Campus in Lewes.

Governor Markell was in attendance as CAI, a global Information Technology consulting, outsourcing and systems integration company announced a National Founding Partnership with Specialisterne to train and hire people who have autism, in technology roles.
