DNREC will hold a community meeting regarding Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) and the temporary regulations recently put in place affecting the 2026-27 deer hunting season Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Delaware Technical Community College Owens Campus in Georgetown. A virtual option is also available and public comment can be made live either in person or via Microsoft Teams.

DNREC will jointly host a virtual hearing with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection on potential changes to the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission’s (ASMFC) Atlantic Menhaden management plan Tuesday, Sept. 22.
