State government agencies, county and municipal governments, and conservation districts can now submit proposals to DNREC and the DPH to receive matching grants for wastewater, surface water and drinking water project planning.

DNREC announced today that a stretch of beach at Gordons Pond within Cape Henlopen State Park has been reopened to beachgoers and surf fishers after the failure of a piping plover nest that was discovered there in late May.

The Delaware Department of Education announces the U.S. Department of Agriculture policy for free and reduced-price meals for families unable to pay the full price for meals served under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), and After School Snack Program (ASSP). Each participating school and its administrative office have a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.
