EDGE 2.0 Finalists and Pitch Competition Dates Announced

The Delaware Division of Small Business is excited to announce the finalists for the EDGE 2.0 Grant Pitch Competition, on Thursday April 30 and Friday May 1, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Delaware Technical Community College in Dover. The public is invited to watch the competition in-person. There is no cost, but registration to secure your seat is required at https://bit.ly/4sAcqQa. There are nine Entrepreneur category finalists and eight STEM category finalists. One hundred twenty-three individuals applied for this round of EDGE, the thirteenth since the program’s launch.




Governor Meyer, DSPC, and Enstructure Announce Permit Issuance for Delaware Container Terminal

WILMINGTON – Governor Matt Meyer announced today that the Department of the Army has issued permits to the Diamond State Port Corporation (DSPC), allowing the DSPC and Enstructure’s public-private partnership to begin the construction of the wharf and dredging activities related to the Delaware Container Terminal (DCT) development in Edgemoor, DE.   Situated on the Delaware River, and three miles northeast of Port Wilmington, DCT will be a state-of-the-art container terminal that will handle up to 1.2 million TEUs of containerized cargo, create thousands of jobs across multiple industries, and enhance the State’s maritime competitiveness.
