DNREC to extend popular Clean Transportation Incentive Program through the end of 2019

DNREC’s Division of Climate, Coastal & Energy today announced that the state’s popular Clean Transportation Incentive Program will be extended through Dec. 31, 2019 in response to Delawareans’ rising demand for cleaner fuel and electric vehicles.




DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife to temporarily close Garrisons Lake north parking area for repaving

DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife will temporarily close the north parking area at Garrisons Lake Thursday, June 21 for repaving. Weather permitting, the work should be completed and the parking area reopened by Friday, June 29.




M/V Twin Capes, retired Lewes-to-Cape May ferry, sunk to become part of Delaware’s artificial reef system

The M/V Twin Capes, a ferry christened 43 years ago on the Delaware Bay and retired after thousands of runs between her namesakes Cape Henlopen, Delaware, and Cape May, New Jersey, was sunk to become part of Delaware’s acclaimed artificial reef system.
