Governor Markell signed legislation today to further help open the door for people with disabilities to work side-by-side with other employees, mirroring the initiative he is championing during his yearlong tenure as chair of the National Governors Association.




Governor Markell, as New NGA Chair, Announces Year-Long Initiative

Governor Markell officially became chair of the National Governors Association (NGA) during the closing session of the NGA Annual Meeting. The NGA has announced his chair’s initiative, A Better Bottom Line: Employing People with Disabilities.




Division for the Visually Impaired to Host Town Hall Meeting July 16

Individuals with visual impairments and the general public will have another opportunity to give feedback to the Delaware Division for the Visually Impaired during a town hall meeting from 5:30-7:30 p.m. July 16 at the Holloway Campus near New Castle.
