Public Health and CVS Health Make Overdose-Reversal Drug Available Without Prescription at DE CVS Pharmacies

The Delaware Division of Public Health and CVS Health announced today that the opioid overdose-reversal medication naloxone is now available without an individual prescription at all of the 20 CVS Pharmacy locations in Delaware, including those located inside Target stores.

The Division of Public Health (DPH) is announcing the closure of its Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Program office located at the Westside Family Health Center in Middletown on Tuesday Nov. 14, 2017. The WIC office must close because Westside Family Health announced that it is closing its Middletown center as of Nov. 28, 2017.
