he deadline for a person to change party affiliation before Delaware’s 2018 Primary Election is Friday, May 25, 2018. Delaware is a closed primary state. You must register in the party in which you want to vote in a Primary Election – Democrat or Republican.  Delaware does not permit persons registered as unaffiliated or with another party to vote in a Primary Election.
