Public Input Sought for DNREC’s 2025 Delaware Wildlife Action Plan
DNREC will hold two listening sessions this month to garner public input as the DNREC Division of Fish and Wildlife continues the revision process of updating the 2025 Delaware Wildlife Action Plan, a 10-year strategic plan to guide wildlife conservation management in the First State.
DNREC to Host Introduction to Living Shorelines Training on March 25 and 26
DNREC will host a training March 25 and 26 as an introduction to the process and components of living shorelines in Delaware. Presented in conjunction with the Delaware Living Shorelines Committee, the in-person event will be held at the DNREC Lewes Field Facility from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
DNREC, City of Wilmington Unveil Revamped 7th Street Boating and Fishing Access Area
The 7th Street Boating and Fishing Area on the Christina River has officially reopened to Wilmington’s Eastside community, with DNREC, in partnership with the city, celebrating the $2.9 million project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in John Barbiarz Park, where the popular facility is located.
