Last summer, I became chair of the National Governors Association, affording me the opportunity to tell Delaware’s story to other state leaders and some of the nation’s largest employers, as well as make our views known on a number of national issues. The Delaware Secretary of State’s Office and the Delaware Division of Corporations recently learned of a deceptive solicitation that has been mailed to numerous Delaware corporations from a company named Corporate Records Service.




Delaware Receives $2.48 Million Innovation Grant from Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation

The National Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services at the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services announced today that over the next six months, the state of Delaware will receive up to $2.485 million to develop its State Health Care Innovation Plan.

Governor Markell joined the Division of the Public Advocate (DPA) today in announcing that the Delaware Energy Assistance Program (DEAP) will have an additional $86,000 this year to help low-income Delawareans pay their summer electric bills.
