The Delaware Technology Student Association (DETSA) proudly announces the outstanding performance of its student leaders June 26-30, 2024 at the 2024 National TSA Conference held in Orlando. This year’s conference celebrated the continuous advancement and innovation of youth pursuing STEM careers. Delaware students showcased their skills and creativity, achieving seven notable Top 10 placements across various technical and professional competitive events.

Fourteen districts or charter schools will benefit from McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act Education for Homeless Children and Youth grants to facilitate the enrollment, attendance, and success in school of children and youth experiencing homelessness. The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act defines homeless children and youth as individuals who lack a fixed, adequate, and regular nighttime residence.

Free and Reduced-Price Meal Policy: Annual Announcement

The Delaware Department of Education announces the U.S. Department of Agriculture policy for free and reduced-price meals for children unable to pay the full price for meals served under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), and After School Snack Program (ASSP). Each participating school and its administrative office have a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.
