The winning entries of the 2013 Delaware Junior Duck Stamp Competition will be judged at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 23 at the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, 11978 Turkle Pond Road, Milton.

With Hurricane Sandy’s impacts expected to cause extensive flooding along Delaware’s coastline and some inland areas, DNREC advises septic system owners on how to manage the care of their systems during the storm and in its aftermath.

All Delaware State Parks and DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife facilities – including state wildlife areas – will close at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28 in anticipation of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Sandy’s projected path through and impact on the Mid-Atlantic region, including Delaware.
