The Records Pond fishing pier in Laurel in Sussex County has been closed effective immediately for public safety due to warping of the pier’s decking, the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control announced today.

DNREC Set to Begin White Creek Dredging Project

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control announced today that dredging is expected to begin just after the New Year on the main channel of White Creek and a short stretch of Asswoman Canal to improve navigability on the two waterways northwest of Bethany Beach in Sussex County.
