The Delaware Division of Public Health (DPH) is reporting the state’s first laboratory-confirmed cases of influenza in Sussex County, for the 2017-2018 flu season. The Sussex County case involves a 65-year old female. This brings the total number of flu cases this season to seven.
Nearly one in four women, and one in nine men, will experience domestic violence, in their lifetime, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In Delaware, that translates to 136,000 women and approximately 108,000 men who have been impacted.
