State Auditor, R. Thomas Wagner, Jr., has released the Statewide Unit Count Agreed-Upon Procedures Engagement Report for the Lake Forest School District, School Year 2016-2017.
The Office of Auditor of Accounts (AOA) performed procedures to determine whether Lake Forest School District properly included selected students in the September 30th Unit Count. The majority of our exceptions resulted from the selected schools failing to maintain the Unit Count file. The exceptions identify which selected schools improperly counted students in the Unit Count and failed to maintain the Unit Count file.
The engagement was performed by AOA in accordance with Government Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.
