New Castle Carjacking Defendant Receives 16-Year Jail Sentence

Attorney General Beau Biden announced today that a New Castle County man convicted earlier this year of carjacking, robbery, and threatening a victim received a lengthy prison sentence today for his crimes.

DUI Checkpoint for September 28th

During the most recent Checkpoint Strikeforce DUI checkpoint on Sept. 20th a total of sixteen (16) people were arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) of alcohol and/or drugs at two separate DUI checkpoints in Dover and Newark. Statewide, there have been over 3,000 DUI arrests made in Delaware this year.
