We can’t wait for kindergarten to start preparing our children for success. Ninety percent of their brain development happens by age five and quality early care results in better educated, healthier, and more productive adults. That’s why we’ve made access to high quality early childhood programs a top priority, by setting standards for what it means to be a top program and helping our best centers serve families that can’t afford to attend. Our investments are paying off.

Lt. Governor and Attorney General Release 1st Report on Public School Anti-Bullying Compliance

Earlier today, Delaware Lt. Governor Matt Denn and Deputy Attorney General Patricia Dailey Lewis, Director – Family Division, presented “Unfinished Business: Implementation by Delaware Public Schools of the State’s 2012 Anti-Bullying Laws.”




Samuel D. Burris Workshop in Dover, Del. on Feb. 15, 2014 postponed

The Samuel D. Burris Workshop, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at The Old State House in Dover, Del., has been postponed. The event will be rescheduled in the near future.




Final Accelerated Academic Grants Awarded
