WILMINGTON, Del. — The State Employees’ Charitable Campaign (SECC) Steering Committee is now accepting applications from Delaware nonprofit organizations interested in participating in the 2026 campaign. Applications opened on February 1, 2026, and must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on March 31, 2026.

The SECC is the State of Delaware’s official workplace giving program for state employees and retirees. In partnership United Way of Delaware, the campaign connects donors with nonprofit organizations that serve families, children, and individuals across Delaware.

During the 2025 SECC, state employees raised $300,675.78, exceeding the $300,000 goal and benefiting 168 charitable organizations across Delaware. The 2026 campaign will run from September 1 through October 31, 2026.

“Delaware’s state employees continue to show their commitment to giving back through SECC,” said Governor Matt Meyer. “This program helps support the nonprofit organizations that strengthen our communities, and I encourage eligible charities to apply to be part of this year’s campaign.”

“The SECC gives our employees a meaningful way to support causes they care about while helping our nonprofit partners expand their impact across the state,” said Yvonne Anders Gordon, Secretary of the Department of Human Resources and Chair of the SECC. “We look forward to another successful campaign in 2026.”

Eligible nonprofit organizations can access the application here, and review eligibility requirements on the Resources for Charities page of the SECC website.
