DNREC Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police officers are investigating a boating accident that occurred midday Saturday at the entrance to the Pot Nets Bayside community in the Indian River Bay.

Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police officers made 1,787 contacts with anglers, hunters, boaters and the general public between Sept. 5-11, including 96 vessel boardings for boating safety and fishing regulation compliance checks.
