Governor Jack Markell greeted a group of more than 50 Japanese exchange students and their teachers. They are the first group of students to visit from Delaware’s sister state since the March 11, 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

Elizabeth Landon, a junior from Wilmington Christian School, won Delaware’s Poetry Out Loud state competition on March 13, 2012. Ms. Landon will represent Delaware in the National Finals in Washington, DC, in May.
