Dover, Del.’s Johnson Victrola Museum closed from June 6 to 30, 2016

Museum will re-open on July 1, 2016 after completion of construction activities.




The Mezzanine Gallery to Exhibit “My Human and I” Featuring Photographs by Yaprak Soysal

Ms. Soysal attributes her interest in street and documentary photography to her fascination with life, people, and stories. Her photographs in My Human and I document dogs with people in a variety of situations from affectionate moments with owners to action shots of dogs working with police trainers.




Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs to sponsor 14 special programs during May 2016

Highlights of the month include programs on the saving of The Old State House, a symposium on the early Colonial archaeology of the Delaware Valley region and the Zwaanendael Maritime Celebration.
