Registration is now open for Delaware’s 2016 Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) program, which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes and Saturday, Oct. 8 at Lums Pond State Park in Bear.




VA Teams Up with American Heart Association

The Department of Veterans Affairs will raise awareness of heart disease in women, particularly women Veterans and VA employees, at a “VA Goes Red” health expo Thursday, Sep. 27, outside VA’s central office at 810 Vermont Avenue.




March 21 Event To Celebrate Four of Delaware’s “Glorious Women”

Four women, whose purpose-filled lives have made a significant difference in our communities and our state, will be honored March 21, 2012 at the 31st Annual Hall of Fame of Delaware Women.




What Really Happened to Amelia Earhart?

Join aircraft recovery expert Richard E. Gillespie as he presents his program “What Really Happened to Amelia Earhart?” on March 3 at the Delaware Public Archives in Dover. A former accident investigator and risk manager for the aviation insurance industry, Gillespie is the author of the book Finding Amelia – The True Story of the Earhart Disappearance.
