Delaware Department of Justice Sentencing Announcement

Wilmington, DE – The Delaware Department of Justice today announced sentences in the following
criminal cases:
John Cameron, age 42 of Claymont, pled guilty on August 8, 2008 in New Castle County Superior
Court to 1st Degree Murder.
On August 2, 2007, the defendant attempted to rob a gas station in Claymont, Delaware. During the
robbery attempt Cameron stabbed the store clerk, resulting in the death of the victim. Cameron was
arrested by Delaware State Police on August 2, 2007.
Cameron was sentenced today in New Castle County Superior Court by Judge Joseph Slights to life in
prison without the possibility of parole. In addition, Cameron was ordered to have no contact with the
victim’s family.

David Morrill, age 53 of Millsboro, pled guilty on August 22, 2008 in Sussex County Superior Court
to two counts Felony Endangering of a Child, 3rd Degree Unlawful Sexual Contact, and Providing
Alcohol to a Minor.
On March 8, 2008, Morrill invited two male juveniles to stay at his home with him. During the visit he
provided alcohol to both and had a sexual relationship with the one of the juveniles. Morrill is a
registered sex offender as a result of convictions in 1990 and again in 1997. Morrill was arrested on
March 20, 2008 by Delaware State Police.
Morrill was sentenced today in Sussex County Superior Court by Judge T. Henley Graves to 3 years in
prison during which time he must undergo sex offender treatment. His incarceration will be followed
by 1 year of intense probation. He must register as a Tier 3 registered sex offender and will have GPS
monitoring upon his release from prison. In addition, Morrill will also be prohibited from having
contact with any minor without a parent being present.

Gary Waters, age 44 of Frankford, pled guilty on July 23, 2008 in Sussex County Superior Court to
Felony Resisting Arrest and Possession of Marijuana.
Waters was stopped by Millsboro Police on February 22 for driving a vehicle with expired registration.
After learning that his car would be towed he became combative. When officers arrested Waters for
the traffic offenses he resisted arrest, injuring a Millsboro Police Officer. A subsequent inventory
search of Water’s car revealed a bag of marijuana.
Waters was sentenced today in Sussex County Superior Court by Judge Scott E. Bradley to 90 days in
prison followed by completion of a drug treatment program. Upon completion of the program Waters
was ordered to undergo 18 months of intense probation while continuing drug treatment through the
Aftercare Program

Antonio Serrador, age 53 of Lewes, pled guilty on August 6, 2008 in Sussex County Superior Court to
Driving Under the Influence 3rd Offense.
On March 5, a Delaware State Police Trooper observed a truck Serrador was driving veer over the
white fog line three times. The Trooper stopped the vehicle. The defendant showed signs of
intoxication and admitted to drinking alcohol. Field sobriety tests were administered and Serrador
failed those tests. A blood draw was conducted and revealed that the defendant’s Blood Alcohol
Content was .094. Serrador was arrested on March 5, 2008 by Delaware State Police.
Serrador was sentenced today in Sussex County Superior Court by Judge Scott E. Bradley to 90 day in
prison, followed by completion of an alcohol treatment program. Upon completion of the program,
Serrador was ordered to undergo one year of intense probation.

Chase Fehrenbach, age 24 of Lewes, pled guilty on July 31, 2008 in Sussex County Superior Court to
multiple counts of Armed Robbery, Burglary, and Theft.
Fehrenbach committed a series of thefts and burglaries on several occasions between June, 2007 and
December, 2007. A number of thefts and burglaries occurred in private residences that the defendant
had access to as an employee of a home interiors business. During that time, the defendant also
committed several armed robberies of Sussex County businesses. Fehrenbach was arrested on
December 6, 2007 by Delaware State Police.
Fehrenbach was sentenced today in Sussex County Superior Court by Judge T. Henley Graves to 17
years in prison and ordered to complete a drug treatment program. Following his release, Fehrenbach
was ordered to undergo twelve years of probation.
