DNREC and the Delaware Division of Public Health will begin soliciting for new water quality improvement projects Monday, Jan. 13 as the agencies start to develop 2025 Clean Water State Revolving Fund and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund project priority lists to be considered for funding.
Delaware Natural Resources Police Collecting Toys for Tots Donations for Kids

With the holiday season beginning, the Delaware Natural Resources Police have boxes in place throughout the state ready to accept donated toys. Donations will be distributed as gifts to children in communities statewide through the local branch of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, with donation boxes at Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control locations throughout the state.

Killens Pond State Park in Kent County will be host site for the 2024 Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) program the weekend of Oct. 4 to 6, DNREC announced, with registration opening Sept. 4. The three-day event is expected to sell out quickly, with registration closing Sept. 18.
