DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife announced today that Israel Mora of Wilmington has been chosen as first-place winner of the 2018 Delaware Fishing Photo Contest. The winning photo will be featured on the cover of the 2019 Delaware Fishing Guide, with four other winning photos displayed inside the guide.

DNREC Secretary Shawn M. Garvin welcomed the Division of Parks & Recreation’s two new additions to their ranks, K-9s Vos and Leo. The K9 officers are officially on the job today, after graduating yesterday from the Delaware State Police Canine Program.

Delaware’s fish and wildlife resources and ensure safe boating and public safety, DNREC’s Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police officers between Nov.19-25 made 1,063 contacts with hunters, anglers, boaters, and the general public, issuing 40 citations.
