Delaware’s Advisory Council on Wildlife and Freshwater Fish will convene for a special meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, in the DNREC Auditorium, in Dover.

Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police officers made 3,625 contacts with anglers, boaters, and the general public between July 9 and 15, issuing 55 citations.

Delaware’s month-long spring turkey season, which ended May 12, yielded 571 birds, 12.4 percent lower than last year’s harvest of 652 birds, DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife announced today.
