Dover, DE – Delaware Auditor of Accounts Lydia E. York published an official Prescription Opioid Settlement Tracker on the State Auditor’s website today. The tracker is a tool available for members of the public to learn about how funds from the Prescription Opioid Abatement and Remediation Grant Program have been disbursed. The tracker includes total funds awarded and funds distributed to date by organization.

“Our office is committed to increasing transparency across all of Delaware’s State government,” said Auditor York. “This tracker is an example of my staff finding an innovative way to achieve that goal. Thank you to the Prescription Opioid Settlement Distribution Commission for working with our office to release this important tool to the public.”

The Prescription Opioid Settlement Tracker is the second such tool created by the State Auditor’s Office, the first being a tracker for American Rescue Plan Act Funds distributed in the State of Delaware. Both trackers utilize data from First State Financials, the State of Delaware’s accounting software.

Delaware Auditor of Accounts Lydia E. York is a public servant with decades of experience in accounting, finance, and the legal profession. In 2022, she became the first African American woman elected to executive office in Delaware history.
