State of Delaware Hosts 4th Annual Statewide Career Fair for Students and Professionals

DOVER, Del. —The Delaware Department of Human Resources (DHR) will host the 4th Annual Statewide Career Fair on April 9, 2025, at the Smyrna Readiness Center. This event offers students and local, regional and federal job seekers the opportunity to connect with state agencies and explore rewarding careers in public service.
High school students, upcoming college graduates, and job seekers are invited to explore a wide range of exciting career opportunities with Delaware’s Executive Branch agencies, the Delaware National Guard, the Judicial Branch and in school districts statewide. The fair is designed to introduce youth to careers in state government, attract a diverse group of candidates, and provide a pathway to new career opportunities.
“This 4th Annual Statewide Career Fair promises to be the largest yet. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about the various careers available within Delaware’s state agencies. We are proud to offer students and job seekers a chance to explore meaningful work in public service and contribute to the growth and success of our state,” said Yvonne Anders Gordon, Secretary of the Delaware Department of Human Resources.
“Delaware’s future depends on a strong and diverse workforce, and the Statewide Career Fair plays a vital role in attracting talented individuals to state government. Whether you’re a student just starting your career, a professional seeking a new opportunity, or a Delaware-based federal worker affected by recent layoffs, this event connects job seekers with rewarding career paths while serving our communities,” said Governor Matt Meyer.

Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters will be available onsite to assist attendees.
