Department of Correction announces search for Wilmington work release offender

The Department of Correction announces that Work Release offender Herman Lynch, III failed to return to Plummer Community Corrections Center in Wilmington on Sunday evening, October 11 from an approved pass. Attempts to make contact with him were immediately undertaken. Ongoing efforts to locate Lynch have been unsuccessful and an escape warrant for his arrest has been issued.
