Delaware will begin legal adult-use marijuana sales on August 1, 2025, marking a major milestone in the First State’s cannabis legalization efforts. According to the Office of the Marijuana Commissioner (OMC), all medical marijuana conversion licensees may begin recreational sales on August 1.

The Delaware Division of Alcohol & Tobacco Enforcement (DATE) arrested 47-year old Lytain Dukes of Long Neck, Delaware, for selling alcoholic liquor without a license and related offenses following an investigation into the I.Y.K.Y.K. Social Hall.

The DMV urges all residents and customers not to click on any links soliciting money for unpaid traffic violations, toll violations, or account replenishment. The Delaware DMV and E-ZPass Delaware will not contact you via email or text demanding payment for a violation.
