DNREC Issues Recreational Swimming Advisory for Rehoboth Beach

DNREC has issued a recreational swimming advisory for Rehoboth Beach at Rehoboth Avenue based on elevated levels of bacteria found in a sample taken Wednesday by the Department’s environmental scientists.




Conservation Project Cleans Indian River and Expands Wildlife Area

The Center for the Inland Bays has partnered with DNREC to permanently protect and restore 52 acres of highly-valuable forests and wetlands.




Delaware Coastal Cleanup – With Precautions – Set for Sept. 12 to Help Keep DE Litter Free

Volunteers are encouraged to mark their 2020 calendars now for the DNREC-sponsored 33rd annual Delaware Coastal Cleanup, tentatively planned for Sept. 12.
