The Delaware Forestry Association will present the 2013 Tree Farmer of the Year Award and also honor 25th Year Tree Farmers at its annual meeting and banquet on Thursday, March 28 at 5:30 p.m. at the Bridgeville Fire Hall in Bridgeville, Delaware. Tickets are $25 for adults and $12.50 for children under 12 years of age, and registration should be completed by March 22. Proceeds from the evening’s silent auction will help support the DFA’s annual college forestry scholarship as well as other educational pograms such as the Delaware Envirothon competition and annual summer camps for students interested in natural resources.
