Milford man faces charges including weapons violations in connection with illegal deer drive near Bridgeville

Following an investigation, Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police arrested a Milford man Jan. 20 for weapons and hunting violations related to an illegal deer drive on Marshy Hope Wildlife Area west of Bridgeville.

Following a criminal investigation, a Georgetown man was arrested Jan. 19 by Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police for multiple weapons, drug and hunting violations, including possession of weapons by a person prohibited.

DNREC reminds residents that ocean dunes in state parks are closed to sledding, snowboarding

The DNREC Division of Parks and Recreation is asking the public to help protect the dunes in Delaware’s ocean parks by reminding residents and visitors that sledding in the dunes at Cape Henlopen, Delaware Seashore and Fenwick Island State Parks is prohibited.

The Nanticoke Watershed Alliance (NWA) seeks enthusiastic, energetic volunteers to join the 2016 Nanticoke Creekwatchers Citizen Water Monitoring Program, which is set to launch its ninth season with a volunteer training and kickoff event Saturday, March 12 at Trap Pond State Park’s Baldcypress Nature Center in Laurel.
