Governor, Department of Correction, educators celebrate graduation of 10 offenders from new culinary certification program

Governor Jack Markell, Department of Correction administrators, and representatives from Delaware Technical Community College celebrated the graduation of 10 offenders from the Sussex Community Corrections Center (SCCC) who completed the culinary program offered at its newly renovated training facility.

Following the recent retirement of JoAnn Balingit as Delaware’s Poet Laureate, Governor Jack Markell announced the Twin Poets, Nnamdi Chukwuocha and Albert Mills, will share the title of 17th Poets Laureate of the State of Delaware.

Early Childhood® program in 2015.
