Milford Project Pop-Up business turns success into expansion

Since its inception in 2012, the Project Pop-Up program has been successful in helping 14 businesses sign long-term leases in once-vacant downtown spaces.




Governor Markell Nominates Felice Kerr to Delaware Family Court

Governor Markell today announced he has nominated Felice Glennon Kerr to serve on the Family Court of the State of Delaware. If confirmed by the Delaware Senate, Kerr will fill the vacancy left by Judge Michael Newell, who was confirmed and sworn in yesterday as Chief Judge of the Family Court.

The Delaware Senate today unanimously confirmed the nomination of Judge Michael Newell to serve as Chief Judge of the Delaware Family Court, replacing Chief Judge Chandlee J. Kuhn, whose term expired on June 4th.




Insurance Department Posts Health Insurance Rate Requests

The Dept. of Insurance has posted the health insurance rate requests for 2016. The DOI will hold public information sessions on June 15 and June 16, and will accept public comments through July 15, 2015.
