THE MEZZANINE GALLERY TO EXHIBIT “COLOR POPS”
FEATURING PAINTINGS BY SU KNOLL HORTY
The Delaware Division of the Arts Mezzanine Gallery is pleased to present Color Pops, an exhibition of abstract paintings by Su Knoll Horty. The exhibition will be on view from August 5–26.
The opening reception will be Friday, August 5 from 5–7 p.m. in the Carvel State Office Building. The reception is free and open to the public and Ms. Horty will be in attendance to discuss her series of paintings which explores fluidity in all its measures – organic form, undulating movement, saturated ‘liquid’ color, and stylized gestural marks. The resulting ‘Color Pops’ are an intriguing mix of color and form.
