Delaware, seven other Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states seek to curb pollution from upwind states

Eight Northeast and Mid-Atlantic States, including Delaware, petitioned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to require upwind states to reduce air pollution generated within their borders, which causes asthma attacks, respiratory disease, and other public health problems downwind.

Signers’ Awards given at the Delaware Public Archives. Students were given two months to prepare an informative and artistic four panel display on Delaware’s role in its writing and ratifying the U.S. Constitution which may include art work, poetry, songs, or political cartoons. Representatives from the Department of State judged 34 projects focusing on three main areas: accuracy, spelling and creativity.

Attorney General Beau Biden announced today that a proactive undercover online investigation by the Delaware Child Predator Task Force into the distribution of child pornography has resulted in the arrest of a Newark man.

Attorney General Beau Biden today announced that Robert Hohn and Shannon Watterson, a Newark couple, have received multi-year prison sentences for abusing and neglecting one of their children, a 12 year-old son, over a three-month period last fall.
