Department of Correction searching for Wilmington work release offender

The Delaware Department of Correction announces that it is currently searching for a work release offender assigned to the Plummer Community Corrections Center in Wilmington. On September 9, Charles Taylor failed to return to the facility from an approved work pass. Attempts to make contact with him were immediately undertaken. Ongoing efforts to locate Taylor have been unsuccessful and an escape warrant for his arrest has been issued.




Governor Markell Orders Flags Lowered on September 11

Governor Markell has ordered the Delaware and American flags to be lowered to half-staff on Friday, September 11, in remembrance of the victims who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
