DNREC’s Division of Parks & Recreation will host a public open house Wednesday, March 21 in Lewes to review the Cape Henlopen State Park Trail Concept Plan. The open house will be held from 4-7 p.m. at the Lewes Public Library, at 111 Adams Avenue, in Lewes.

DNREC’S Division of Parks & Recreation announces Rockland entrance to Brandywine Creek State Park will close beginning March 11 through April 9

The Rockland entrance of Brandywine Creek State Park will be closed from the evening of March 11 through April 9 for stormwater culvert replacements. The eastern section of the Brandywine Trail from the Rocky Run Bridge to the Rockland entrance will also be closed. During the closure, failed stormwater culverts on the Brandywine Trail extending to the Rocky Run Bridge will be replaced with larger units.
