‘Take A Kid Fishing!’ Events Announced

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control invites budding anglers ages 6 through 15 to join the DNREC Division of Fish of Fish and Wildlife aquatic resource educators and learn how to fish with a parent, grandparent or guardian at an upcoming “Take a Kid Fishing!” event.




Flag Lowering for the Victims at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas

As a mark of respect for the victims of the senseless acts of violence perpetrated on May 24, 2022, by a gunman at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, President Biden ordered flags at all U.S. government buildings and facilities to be flown at half-staff until sunset on May 28, 2022. 

In concurrence with the President’s order, Governor Carney has ordered both the U.S. and Delaware flags at state buildings and facilities be flown at half-staff until sunset on May 28, 2022.
