DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife needs help from the public to stop dumping and vandalism at the Robert L. Graham Nanticoke Wildlife Area near Laurel, notably at an unpaved crossroad connecting Phillips Landing Road with Sharptown Road.

Delaware’s Advisory Council on Wildlife and Freshwater Fish meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 26 has been canceled.
The next scheduled meeting will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, in DNREC’s R&R Building Auditorium, 89 Kings Highway, Dover, DE 19901.

Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police officers between June 11-17 made 2,827 contacts with anglers, boaters, and the general public, issuing 50 citations. Officers responded to 74 complaints regarding possible violations of laws and regulations or requests to assist the public.

DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife will temporarily close the north parking area at Garrisons Lake Thursday, June 21 for repaving. Weather permitting, the work should be completed and the parking area reopened by Friday, June 29.
