DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife announces successful piping plover nesting season

DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife is reporting a successful nesting season for piping plovers in Delaware, with an all-time high number of 16 breeding pairs producing 36 fledglings.

To promote youth hunting participation and recruitment, DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife has expanded and designated special youth hunting days on both public and private lands statewide.

DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife has announced the annual fall trout stocking of White Clay Creek, an annual tradition since 2007 to provide anglers an opportunity to fish for trout in the fall.
