Someone said to me after my State of the State address last week that it seems like I spend most of my time focused on jobs, schools and governing responsibly. That so much of what we do – whether its budget or policy – seems to focus largely on those three issues.

Governor Signs into Law Ban on Dangerous “Bath Salts” Drugs

Surrounded by lawmakers, police officers, scientists, social service and health officials, the Governor signed a bill into law that makes permanent a ban imposed last September on a class of designer drugs popularly known as “bath salts.” The new law also gives police and prosecutors more flexibility in dealing with the dangerous drugs.




Delaware Tourism Industry Study Results

A study was conducted by D.K.Shifflet & Associates Ltd. and Vantage Strategy, a research firm and consulting firm respectively, to determine the economic impact of tourism in the State of Delaware.
